Dr. Kary Whitehead is a board-certified sleep specialist with extensive training in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia Hospital. He then completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Whitehead further specialized in sleep medicine through focused training with leaders in the field, including Dr. Helio Lemmi and Dr. Neal Aguillard. As Medical Director of Focus Sleep Centers, he is dedicated to improving patients’ health and quality of life through expert diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
